Historic Highlights/Interesting Information: Maid of Kent is a founding flag vessel of the Ancient Mariners Sailing Society in 1975, and we have owned her for 40 years. She has cruised from mainland Mexico to the Channel Islands. Maid of Kent was extensively rebuilt by Koehler Kraft Co. in 2017.
Type of Construction: Maid of Kent was originally Philipine mahogany carvel planked over apetong frames. The planking is now an epoxy-sapele composite planked over apetong frames. All iron fasteners have been replaced with bronze and T316 stainless steel.
